Welcoming Nicole, to the Flight Digital team.

Nicole has a hybrid role here at Flight as the Digital Operations and People Manager. Her past experience as a Digital Producer in Creative and Digital agencies across Auckland, Sydney, and Toronto helped get her where she is today.

Nicole is a qualified HR professional and will be looking after that aspect of Flight Digital. She is passionate about strengthening our employee engagement and absolutely loves to be along for the ride during this massive growth phase here at Flight.

WHAT DO YOU DO AT FLIGHT DIGITAL?

I currently play a hybrid role here at Flight. I am working to grow our newly created DOS (Digital Operations Support) team along with developing and strengthening our People & Culture offering. I am a Digital Producer along with a qualified HR professional so this role is perfect for me to spread myself across the agency meaning I get to learn every nook and cranny, no stone will be left unturned.

WHAT CAN WE FIND YOU DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?

6am you’ll find me at the gym, then shortly later eating some variation of Sushi or Mexican food. In the afternoon I’ll spend time with my little girl and bring her to the playground. By the end of the day I will usually be parked up in front of the TV watching reality shows and drinking Processco (only if its not a school night).

WHAT IS ONE THING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I am super healthy however weird stuff always happens to me. Eg. Bit my tongue off when I was 4 years old, half my face paralysed for a few days as I didn’t wear a hat in Toronto on a -20° day (I had Bell’s Palsy, like Rocky Balboa), I had two collapsed lungs after having a heated argument with my Mum (spontaneous pneumothorax) and most recently I was stung by stingray on my foot, which was the worst pain you can imagine.

Recommendation time, watching, reading, eating tell us all about it?

The Queens Gambit was so good so would definitely recommend people to watch that.
