We partnered with Cure Kids to transform its digital presence - creating a scalable, purpose-led platform that highlights the research they fund, not just the children they support.

Cure Kids raises funds to support major research breakthroughs in child health, currently backing over $19 million in research projects. However, their previous website centred heavily on “sick kids” rather than the life-changing research being funded. Built on an inflexible monolithic CMS, the platform struggled to scale content, structure research information, or support meaningful donation journeys. We reimagined the site as a hopeful, research-led ecosystem - making complex information accessible to supporters while retaining credibility with the medical community.

Algolia search integration ensures supporters, families and clinicians can quickly find relevant information, transforming a vast research archive into an intuitive experience.

Child health research is layered and technical. We developed sophisticated data modelling to correlate health conditions, researchers and funded projects; creating structured pathways that allow users to explore the impact of donations in meaningful ways.

A comprehensive design system now supports both the core Cure Kids brand and sub-brands such as Red Nose Day - ensuring consistency while enabling campaign flexibility.

We evolved Cure Kids’ digital brand to reflect hope, optimism and forward momentum. Bespoke illustrations and a refined UI system soften complex subject matter while maintaining credibility. The new Red Nose Day minisite extends the brand into a vibrant, high-engagement fundraising moment.

The result is a platform that educates, inspires and converts - without compromising compassion.

Generosity thrives on clarity and context. We designed a bespoke donation UX component allowing users to contribute in-context; directly from research stories, condition pages or campaign content. Integrated with Stripe, the experience removes friction while reinforcing the connection between donation and tangible impact.
