We launched three new websites to support the rebrand of Mercy Ascot Hospital, Mercy Radiology and Healthcare Holdings into Allevia; creating a cohesive, scalable digital ecosystem for New Zealand’s largest private healthcare group.
The existing digital environment was fragmented and technically constrained; an inflexible monolithic CMS supported by bolted-on microsites and disconnected systems. As Allevia entered a new chapter, the digital experience needed to reflect its scale, clinical excellence and national ambition. We designed and delivered three unified, future-ready platforms built on a highly modular architecture - forming the cornerstone of a nationwide brand relaunch.

To ensure cohesion across Allevia’s hospitals, radiology and group presence, we built a comprehensive design system spanning sub-brands.
The modular Craft CMS framework includes more than 50 flexible content block types, enabling infinite layout combinations while maintaining brand integrity. Every block can be themed with palette variations and decorative elements; balancing governance with creative freedom.
This system empowers internal teams to author dynamic content without compromising consistency.

Behind the scenes, complexity is orchestrated. On the surface, clarity prevails.
Healthcare information is inherently complex. We developed sophisticated data modelling to correlate nearly 400 specialists with services, procedures and locations; creating structured, interconnected user journeys. An API integration with Healthpoint ensures specialist information remains accurate and up to date, while the radiology booking integration with Comrad supports seamless appointment pathways.

Built for scale, governance and
long-term growth.
The highly modular Craft CMS architecture replaces the previous monolith with a flexible, scalable system designed to evolve alongside Allevia’s services and footprint. The platform supports ongoing expansion, future acquisitions and new service lines ensuring the digital ecosystem grows with the organisation.
